For Undergraduate Applicants

ASCE concrete canoe team post-races at the annual Carolinas Conference held in late March or early April. Students design and build their canoe using highly specialized concrete mixes and reinforcement. A Duke engineering education is an experience that will change your life. In the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering especially, we pride ourselves on close student-faculty interaction. You'll know us by name and we'll know you too. Our undergraduate program emphasizes the technical knowledge and personal skills you need to become a leader in the field or career of your choice.

We offer tremendous flexibility in our degree programs--with two majors, the freedom to double or dual major, certificate programs and more. And we encourage our students to study abroad.
